The Company began operations in 2015 to accumulate, accept, and process electronic equipment from consumers and businesses in Southwest Virginia. Prior to founding the company, our leadership team had over 46 years of combined experience managing end-of-life electronic assets for both small and large companies. In 1994, the owner was honored as Small Business Person of the Year by the Roanoke Valley Chamber of Commerce and received the same award for the Commonwealth of Virginia from the Virginia Chamber of Commerce. These recognitions were for offering sustainable, environmentally responsible solutions to prevent electronics from ending up in landfills.
Since its inception, the company has received and processed over 7 million pounds of electronic equipment. Of this, only 327,000 pounds (trash, broken pallets, or otherwise non-recyclable items) had to be diverted to landfills—achieving an impressive 96.4% recycling success rate.
We also provide secure data destruction services at no cost to clients. Since 2015, the company has safely remediated over 150,000 computers and data-containing devices, with zero data breaches.
The company recently completed an audit and renegotiated an existing contract with its largest client (active since 2015). The contract, previously renewed annually, is now a five-year renewable agreement, extending through 2030. This client currently accounts for approximately 70% of our business.
