Training & Support
Our experienced Support Team offers best-in-class services and systems to help you run a successful Zoup! Eatery.
- Real Estate & Construction – A dedicated team helps franchisees with location selection, tenant representation, broker management, letter of Intent development and lease negotiations. Our Construction Team helps manage the build-out process, including layout, design, bid review, general contractor selection and acquisition of fixtures, furniture and equipment.
- Training – Franchisees attend our Ztrain! New Owner Training program, which is conducted at our Support Center and training restaurants in Michigan. The initial course runs 15-18 days; then we provide onsite trainers for 15-20 days before and/or after your opening. Ongoing training includes videos and product rollout guides.
- Operations – One of our Franchise Business Consultants will work with you on an ongoing basis to help you spot opportunities and grow your business. Support includes conference calls and onsite visits. We also hold annual Regional Franchise Meetings and an Annual Franchise Reunion to enable you to learn about new developments and to exchange ideas with other owners and Support Team Members.
- Marketing – Our Field Marketing Manager works with you to develop and implement your Grand Opening Plan. Ongoing assistance includes social media set-up and management, and access to our in-house Marketing Team, videographer and graphic artists.

From their early days as spice merchants selling seasonings and blends to restaurants, our founders never settled for good enough. When they discovered soup was often an afterthought, they set out on a mission to make Good, Really Good™ soup using only the freshest ingredients possible.
In 1998 they opened their first restaurant in Southfield, MI and their first franchise location in 2003. Today, fans can enjoy Zoup! Eatery’s soup, salads, sandwiches, mac, bowls and craft beverages at more than 80 locations throughout the United States and Ontario, Canada, where the brand’s mission – to be undeniably better than “good enough”— applies not only to our soup, but everything we do.
The brand’s growth continues, spearheaded by The Zoup! Leadership Team, which brings together carefully chosen industry experts with specific talents and skill sets. Together, they elevate the concept, driving it forward and ensuring our category-leading role and longevity.
