iTrip originated in 2008 when our company’s founders identified a need for their short-term rental properties but could not find adequate solutions in the marketplace. Unsatisfied with their property management options, fees, and owner restrictions, our founders created a full-service program that solved these problems and created more efficient processes to drive revenue. Today, iTrip franchisees manage short-term rental properties in over 110 markets across the United States.
Our hands-on experience and ability to replicate the model in subsequent markets serve notice to the experience you receive with your investment. Your ability to work with our team of support personnel and follow our time-tested processes provides a roadmap built on years of experience.
Technology is increasingly critical to this industry. Many short-term rental property managers do not have the resources to build or buy the technology needed today to drive their business. Since 2008, iTrip has been dedicated to ongoing research and development to support our franchisees. iTrip was an early adopter of the importance of technology and automation in all aspects of our business model. Our focus has been on reducing traditional property management business expenses and operator time, while increasing efficiencies, to allow for ease of scalability.
Ideal Candidate
iTrip offers an ideal family business opportunity. Additionally, the business may be used as a legacy and passed to family members. iTrip seeks full-time owner/operators who live in or within a 40-minute drive of an available territory. An ideal candidate will have 15 or so years of professional/business experience.
There are three drivers to an iTrip property management business:
- bring properties under management,
- get bookings for those properties, and
- manage the properties (e.g., cleaning, linen changeover, maintenance, etc.).
