Services Offered
At DBG Advisors, I primarily provide business valuation advice and due diligence support. I perform all of DBG Advisors certified business appraisals and I frequently provide less formal input regarding client list prices where a formal appraisal is not required. My due diligence support service typically involves researching answers to due diligence questions that our business sellers have difficulty answering themselves.

In addition to valuation and due diligence support, I also manage some sell side brokerage listings and provide a variety of exit planning support services. Exit planning support services include:

- evaluation of exit alternatives,
- providing structuring guidance for internal sale transactions
- guidance regarding management incentive plans and
- value enhancement analysis including risk mitigation analysis

I also usually engaged several times per year by SBA lenders and other lenders to perform business valuations that meet SBA lending requirements and other M&A lending due diligence requirements. I am only able to provide these services when DBG Advisors is not an advisor to in the business sale.
About

I have performed business appraisals for fully 30 years now in most industries. A significant portion of my business valuation experience involved commitment of capital during a period when I managed portfolios of leveraged debt instruments.

Education:
BBA - Finance w/ accounting concentration - University of Texas at San Antonio, 1988
MS - Finance w/ additional accounting emphasis - Texas A&M University, 1992

My work experience includes business valuation at a Big 6 firm (Price Waterhouse) and other firms, leveraged finance debt investment including syndicated loans and high yield bonds, audit (also at Price Waterhouse) and commercial lending at the original Texas predecessor to what is now Bank of America.
