Charlie began his career as a Business Broker in 1996, after the sale of his two outdoor sporting goods stores. During the process of selling, he realized mistakes were made in the process that cost him a lot of aggravation since he did not use an experienced Business Broker. He thus decided to become a Business Broker so others did not repeat his mistakes. Charlie holds a Master’s Degree in Management/Administration from Cambridge College, Boston, and has been a serial entrepreneur since 1990, with multiple successful business ventures to his credit. He recently sold his latest venture, a successful specialty furniture retail business, which he had purchased when the economy crashed in 2008. He was able to triple revenues and increase profits 4x in the first 5-years of ownership. Charlie has also done business consulting, contributing to the turnaround of multiple manufacturing, distribution/wholesale and retail businesses.
