Our Mission - Summit Learning Services is the fastest growing tutoring company in Florida. Since our incorporation in June of 2006 and from the time we first started to tutor students (January 2007), quality has always been our highest priority. Our company began tutoring 1 student and grew to more than 100 in less than 3 months. We partnered with several area South Florida Public schools, in fact, we were named Partner of the Year in 2008 by the Broward County Public School System.

In 2008, we were privileged to become a provider in the No Child Left  Behind Program. We were proud to tutor hundreds of students in our 1st year in NCLB. There is 2.7 billion dollars available nationally for the NCLB program and 125 million in Florida alone.  In 2009, we opened 12 franchised units that are servicing close to 25 Florida counties. We still have some available territories left in Florida. We will be serving 7-10 other states beginning in the 2010-2011 school year, all supported by franchised locations. Our realistic goal is to develop 150+ centers in the next 2-3 years.

Market - There are many tutoring companies for parents to choose from. The Education/Tutoring services field is a 12 billion dollar a year sector and growing 12-15% every year. It is one of the few industries that continue to grow during these turbulent times.

  • You will become rich working 20-30 hours a week. Let's face it, if it were that easy, everyone would do it. The fact is, to succeed; you will need to devote time to your center. Studies have shown learning centers that restrict themselves to Monday-Thursday hours of 3pm-7pm will typically close in a short period of time or sold. If you work hard and put in the extra effort needed to develop a successful business, the financial rewards will come.
  • Finding top notch staff is easy. You want educators who will represent your Summit Learning Services center in a positive way. Hiring college students or even individuals without teaching experience will most likely harm the reputation of your center. Our salaries paid to tutors are tops in the industry. We can be extremely selective in who we hire. We are not saying hiring top notch staff is difficult but, we want to make it clear that it is a very important function of your duties and should not be taken lightly.
