Members of the Assisting Hands® team live their dream of owning their own business by helping seniors and others with limited physical abilities get what they want to stay home, living an independent life of dignity and respect. There is nothing more rewarding you can do in your life than be able to positively touch people's lives. You can find businesses that are personally rewarding and you can find businesses that are financially rewarding, but it is not every day you can be in a business that can be both!
An Industry in Demand
Seniors represent the largest, wealthiest, and fastest growing market segment in the U.S. and an estimated 1.4 million of them currently require some form of home care. By 2012, there will be a staggering 40 million people over the age of 65 in the United States. By the age of 85, nearly 50% of these people will need some support with their everyday activities.
Assisting Hands® is not just any home care franchise company. We are poised to provide excellent service in this ever-increasing market. While there has been a lot of talk in recent years about the aging baby-boomers in America, we are now starting to see the impact that it has on our society. Assisting Hands® is here to provide both the care and level of service that they require.
The Right Experience
The Founder and President of the organization is Dr. Gail Silverstein, has more than 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry including leadership roles in private and public health care organizations. She also held University faculty appointments in Florida and Arizona, teaching in the areas of managed care, health policy and marketing. It was Dr. Silverstein's behind-the-scenes knowledge of the health care industry coupled with her personal experience helping her aging father at home that led her to realize there was a serious gap in the area of support, which is why she launched Assisting Hands® to provide a better alternative for the elderly and disabled, and to assist people to age with grace. CEO, Dick Rennick, brings more than 30 years of franchise experience to our home care franchise system, assuring the highest level of support and development available.
