Oklahoma Oilfield Service Co. in the "STACK"

Enid, OK

Project OK Services is an oilfield service company providing laydown machines, pipe racks, hot shot/trucking, forklifting, and well site management. OK Services is located in Oklahoma, and involved with the growing “Scoop” and “Stack” plays among others. The ownership is open to an outright sale or majority purchase. The company is able to protect on the downside of “new well completion” with its other services that are purely “work-over” and trucking. About half of Sales are derived from laydown service work while the balance is related to work-over, rentals and trucking. Business Highlights: • Financials: The company is currently on pace for over $4m in Revenue and $2.4m in EBITDA for 2018. 2017 saw Revenue of $3.7m and EBITDA of $1.2m. • Commodity Prices: the company remained very profitable through some of the worst of Oil & Gas prices in recent history to its strong customer base, relationships and type of services. • Competitive Advantages: The current owner is in his 40’s, and has nearly 25 years of managing, building, and starting oil field related services, so he knows the “ins and outs” of the market. Reputation is the biggest hurdle for entry to the oil patch and the company is known and respected in the marketplace. General Manager is in place as well which makes the business more “sellable”. • Market Channels: The company’s customers are E&P / operating companies. The company has MSAs with major E&P companies versus focusing on independent players, a “who’s who” of the Oklahoma (and national) Oil & Gas market. • Growth Opportunities: Beyond growing its existing/current services, the company seeks to add a “full” fishing tool and rental businesses to its line of services in the near-term. This would add growth and diversification to OK Services. Lastly, the company can geographically expand with its current customers into other basins and those conversations have taken place. • Personnel and Equipment: OK Services has grown to 22 employees, 10 laydown machines, 50 pipe racks, 20 pickup trucks, 7 semi-tractors, and several fork lifts.
