It takes an average of four to eight months to open the doors of a franchise once submission of the application occurs. You should be financially stable and ready to work hard during that time period and beyond.

If you need financing, Surf City Squeeze does not provide financing, but has a large referral list of companies you can work with. You do not need to have a location selected when you first contact Surf City Squeeze as potential owners will receive assistance in site location.

Any experience with reports, operations, marketing or financials is a plus but not required.

History

Surf City Squeeze was founded in Phoenix, Arizona in 1981 by a tri-athlete bringing smoothies to people before most people knew what a smoothie even was. Their smoothies featured a special mix of ingredients that formed the foundation of everything. As they grew their menu, they focused on excellent customer service and identified a niche of health conscious individuals who liked to have fun. Surfer dudes, beach babes and more became their target audience.

In 1998 they increased their franchise offerings which led to the more rapid expansion of the Surf City Squeeze brand and expansion of its menu. Surf City Squeeze features four different goal-based smoothies from functional to energy, lemonade and other drinks.

Training And Support

Classroom and in-store training is offered for new franchisees. Owners spend five days at the Kahala Training & Education Center (KTEC) in Scottsdale, Arizona.
