History

In 2009, Small Hands Big Art founder, Jennifer Bryant, took a giant leap of faith and left an 18 yr career in “Corporate America" to follow an inner calling to provide an inspiring space and creative outlet for kids in her Charlotte, NC community. Fueled by a love of children and lifelong passion for all things artsy, Jennifer envisioned a bright, open welcoming children’s art studio where kids would come running in, chomping at the bit for some much needed creative freedom and artistic exploration & expression.

Fast forward ten years and her vision has become a thriving, lively space that is a sought-after "happy place" for thousands of families who have literally marked all of their children’s growth by the ever-changing Small Hands Big Art masterpieces that have adorned their walls!

In 2018, after the longtime sustained success of it’s flagship Charlotte, NC studio and with keen interest from others to open a 2nd studio, founder Jennifer Bryant saw franchising as an ideal way for other like-minded creative entrepreneurs to bring the company’s successful model to their own communities.

Now with studios in Charlotte, NC and Fort Mill, SC, Small Hands Big Art is excited to expand and help others fill a growing void in their communities from the ongoing decline of art education in schools. Through its popular curriculum (a curated blend of fine art principles fused with contemporary trends & slathered with individual expression), Small Hands Big Art studio owners can make a huge difference in the lives of children in their community!
