RIBS LLC is a multi-discipline estimating/billing/AR firm whose staff are leaders in the construction, insurance billing/consulting/estimating industry. RIBS LLC was developed for the purpose of providing construction cost estimates, consulting, collecting accounts receivables and billing services for all types of contractors and mitigation/remediation companies. Our staff are specialists in billing, collection, mitigation/remediation and the reconstruction of water, fire, mold, Bio Hazard, Animal removal, Grow Houses and Meth House claims. Our estimating/billing/AR services give clients the ability to concentrate on their own projects and marketing to keep overhead to a minimum by not having to employ full time estimators and accounts receivable personnel.

History

I was a General Adjuster for 20 years. One day the company I was working for lost its largest contract and 40 of us got laid off. I started writing estimates for contractors to show them how to get the maximum possible that insurance will pay. This went on for several years and then in 2016 a water restoration company asked us to write their estimates. After 30 days they were unable to pay us because they could not collect the money for the insurance companies. I hired 2 of my adjuster buddies and we took over the billing and collections for this company. At the end of our first 60 days we had collected 336,000.00 for them. After that it was a word of mouth thing as 80%of our clientele has been word of mouth and referral only. We subscribe to the theory that its customer service that makes us great in a high tech environment.

Training And Support

4 day training period at our office in Orlando Florida to learn our file trac system and estimate writing utilizing a software called xactimate. After training we bring the franchisee on board to handle live files for the next 30 to 60 days and write the estimates for the files. Training is ongoing even after the 60 days should it be needed. By the time you are ready to handle your own files you have had all the training you will need. We supply the file trac system on a cost of per file bases to keep start up costs low. We have access to the file trac should we need to go in, answer any questions and review any files that the franchisee may need help with.
