Pluckers Wing Bar is a place where friends can go after work to grab a cold beverage and watch the game, where families can bring their kids and let them be kids and where college students can enjoy late-night wings after a hard week of studying. Though the wing joint initially began as a late-night wing delivery service, it has since expanded into a sit-down eatery with table service and everything. Each establishment comfortably seats between 60 to 100 guests.

The dynamic trio who helped make Pluckers possible has not let success get to their heads. Though they have sit down restaurants in 23 locations throughout Texas and Louisiana, they continue their delivery service, which is where much of the company's bread and butter is at. The low overhead of maintaining the 2,200 to 3,000 square foot restaurants combined with the always exceptional delivery sales results in high profitability.

The franchise operates like a family and looks to add others to its team that are willing to continue with the family-feel theme.

Why Choose Us?

Franchising a Pluckers Wing Bar comes with several advantages, including, but not limited to the lack of capital requirements, the affordable franchise fee and the ability to make profits both in store and via deliveries. One of the greatest benefits of choosing to franchise with this company, however, is its family-friendly environment and close-knit team environment.

Ideal Candidate

Though the founders of the restaurant prefer to franchise individuals with restaurant experience, restaurant experience is not necessary. Those with sales and/or management experience are preferred.

Mark Greenberg and David Paul first formed the idea of Pluckers Wing delivery service when they realized that only Chinese and pizza restaurants delivered to the dorms. Frustrated by their lack of options, they began to discuss the idea of a wing joint with close friends and roommates. After years of trial and error recipe research and much talk, the duo, along with Sean (Mark's brother and now company partner), finally felt confident that they had a recipe worth debuting at the campus-wide Cook-Off. They entered the competition armed with 1,000 pounds of cooked wings to serve to patrons. They were the only group with a food that wasn't chili, and people loved them. They were out of wings before the day's end.

With the money from the chili cook-off and what savings they did have, they leased a space that was once a Mediterranean restaurant right outside of campus. The three of them, some friends and their future wives helped them demolish the place and rebuilt it into the type of establishment they envisioned Pluckers to be. They opened their doors on Sunday, July 23, 1995.

In 2002, after dedicating hundreds of hours a week to Pluckers' growth, the duo were finally able to expand. They chose Dallas as their new location. They continued to grow in Austin and were eventually able to open a location in Baton Rouge.

Today, the trio that started it all continue to oversee operations. They believe in fostering a family friendly environment both on the customer side and the employee side.
