Overview

CompuChild is a computer education program that utilizes a curriculum designed to prepare children for careers that do not yet exist. Though it may seem impossible to prepare younger generations for an uncertain future, trends indicate that the four Cs—collaboration, communication, creativity and critical thinking—are essential traits employers look for in candidates, and that jobs will have a strong foundation in the STEAM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math).

CompuChild's proprietary curriculum covers the 4 Cs and provides an engaging STEM and Art curriculum. CompuChild's program is available at schools, child care centers and community centers throughout the United States. The program encourages learning through small group sessions that encourage children to better communicate and collaborate and to exercise their critical thinking skills.

Why Choose Us?

CompuChild franchisees enjoy many benefits, such as flexibility, independence and control over their own futures. Because CompuChild has an established curriculum, and because it has developed proven processes for teaching young children, franchisees gain the tools and knowledge necessary to succeed right from the get-go.

One of the major perks of franchising a CompuChild, outside of contributing to the education of future generations, is the work-life balance. As a franchisee, you determine how and when you work, and from where. As you add more educators to your roster, you can enjoy more freedom while still knowing that you're earning an income. Some other benefits you will enjoy as a franchisee include the following:

  • Low overhead
  • Exclusive territory of more than 200,000 residents
  • Low initial investment
  • Ability to work full or part-time
  • Established processes and curriculum
  • Established reputation
  • Individualized training
  • Ease of operation
  • Low royalty fees
  • Startup equipment and supplies, with discounted supplies thereafter

CompuChild's royalty fee is extremely competitive as well. When you're generating less than $40,000 in annual sales, you only pay $150. When you begin to generate more in sales, the fee is slightly higher, but still low, at just 3% of gross sales in excess of $40,000.

Active, retired and honorably discharged military members and reservists enjoy a 20% discount on the initial franchise fee. CompuChild also waives royalty fees should a franchisee be called up for Reserve or Guard Duty.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal CompuChild franchisee is someone who is passionate about education and the future of younger generations. This person does not need a teaching credential. However, the ideal franchisee enjoys working with children, has strong communication skills and is willing and able to follow a prescribed system.

History

CompuChild was founded in 1994 with the goal of helping younger generations adequately prepare for careers of the future. Today, the company is the nation's leader in STEAM education for young students. This is the result of years of experience and a proprietary curriculum that addresses the pressing needs of future employers. CompuChild franchisees work with instructors and students at day care centers, community centers and schools throughout the United States.
