The office personnel includes Lawrence Stecker as the Accountant, an Office Administrator with partial knowledge of individual taxation and a part time Tax Preparer during tax season. Lawrence maintains a client list of more than 500 individuals and in some cases corporations associated with these individuals. This client list has grown and been maintained with no outside advertising. The majority of Lawrence’s new clients are referrals from existing clients and business network. Many clients use LJS as their preferred tax preparer for over 10 years, and in some instances over 20 years. While tax services are needed throughout the year, “tax season” is the busiest time period. The office will be scheduled with appointment throughout the day, six days a week. Generally seven days of work is required to manage the flow of work and traffic. The client base is 85% local and 15% out of state and out of country.
