The business is a franchise associated with the largest and most successful franchisor in the educational field. Current absentee owner bought the business in 2010 from the previous franchisee and has rebuilt and expanded it into a very successful operation. The current owner has other business interests outside the educational field and thus feels the need to sell, preferably to an active owner/operator. The lease expense for the space occupied is approximately $5,500/month. The lease contains a 6 month notification for termination.
Competition:
The competition consists primarily of another franchisee which has been in and out of business several times over recent years, and several local providers, one of whom has been particularly consistent in services provided and results realized. However, schools tend to be the primary competitor.
Growth & Expansion:
There is significant expansion potential for a owner/operator. One area of emphasis is the general academic program where the length of time and the “keep” rate can be improved. Doing so will result in a significant increase in business. Seller will be more explicit in meeting with prospective Buyer.
Support & Training:
The Franchisor will provide 2 weeks of mandatory training. In addition, the Seller is willing to provide up to 4 weeks of training at approximately 10 hours per week. This would consist, in part, of reviewing and discussing the particulars of incorporating the business model as well as providing numerous business introductions for business development purposes. Additional training/consulting is available from the Seller, if required, for an additional fee.
