A Note from the Owners:
Hi, I’m Andy. The pretty girl in the picture is my wife, Kayla. Together, we founded Creosote in 2016, with my background as a high-rise window cleaner, and Kayla’s branding experience. Over the last three years, we’ve built the business to cover the valley, with hubs in Gilbert and Avondale. We’ve made a lot of friends, and cleaned a lot of windows (and blinds, and tracks, and solar panels for that matter).

We’ve made our mistakes, streamlined our processes, nailed down our pricing model, and the business is ready to scale.

Only problem: it turns out I have a spinal cord casing that tears easily, causing cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) leaks. Go figure. The doctors are recommending I minimize my lifting to <40lbs forever, so that puts a kibosh on this beautiful business we’ve built. We’re really passionate about seeing the business continue taking care of this community we’ve found, so we’re looking for someone amazing that gets a kick out of serving people ridiculously well.

All cleaning gear (including ladders, vacuum, etc.). Fully wrapped 2006 Ford F-150. Ladder rack. Google Chromebook laptop. Beautiful website with bid calculator tool. Printed materials (notepads, stickers, flyers). Copyrighted stock photos for marketing. 120+ Facebook following and 230+ Instagram following. The window cleaning industry is highly competitive, like many service-based businesses. And like any business, strong relationships win out every time. If you take care of people, we've found that they keep coming back. The West Valley, particularly, is growing at a staggering rate. And there’s a clear opportunity to become "the" window cleaner for the Avondale/Goodyear/Buckeye/Surprise area. There’s more competition in Gilbert, but we consistently win bids against other cleaners due to our refined sales process and high-touch approach.
Growth & Expansion:
Creosote is ready to go wherever your ambition takes you. You can keep it owner-operated if you’re looking for easy-going work, or take over the valley if you’re ready to hustle. We’d recommend having two teams: East and West Valley. The business steadily operates at a rate of $50/hour, with $60/hour easily attainable. Creosote comes with a beautiful, 13-page website and bid calculator tool. We have listings on Google, NextDoor, and Yelp, as well as our social media accounts on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
Payment due on signing.
Support & Training:
Andy is offering to spend two months providing any support you may need (sans physically cleaning windows). You’ll also receive a handbook with all documented processes. If you decide to expand and advertise, Kayla can guide the process. You will receive all visual branding files and templates, physical copies, and a digital brand guide.
Reason for Selling:
Recently diagnosed connective tissue disorder bans lifting more than 40 pounds.
