The current owner is looking to start preparing for retirement and is willing to stay involved as needed for the new owners.

Operates out of a 4,000 ft2 building, roughly 20% office space and 80% workspace (of which 80% is heated and cooled). There is also 20,000 ft2+ of ground space around the building that is currently used for parking trucks, trailer, equipment, spare parts and more. There is also a shipping container that is used for storage of tools and equipment as well. The real estate is owned by the business owner and is available for purchase if a buyer is interested. However, the real estate has not been included in the asking price for the business
One of the biggest strength of the business is the well trained, capable and knowledgeable staff, and their reputation for having the tools and equipment necessary to complete their projects on time and on budget. Their in-house sheet metal fabrication shop is a big strength of the business. With key employees in place and with more work being booked every day, the new owner would capitalize on this reputation as a solid foundation from which to build. As the preferred vendor for many General Contractors in the area and with many repeat commercial customers in the area, the business is positioned as a leader in their industry with a steady flow of business. For the current owner, most days require less than 4 hours of his time. Most of his role is that of chief administrator and general manager. With the current key staff in place, they are able to handle the rest in most cases. A new owner should be able to focus on growth if willing to put in the additional hours. If not, they could potentially maintain the current business with as little investment of time as the current owner after an appropriate transition period.
Growth & Expansion:
• The business has no marketing or advertising presence. For a new owner wanting to grow the business, any investment in marketing, whether online or through traditional media, should pay dividends in growth. • The business currently does not promote annual service to clients for projects they complete and for the units they install. This could be an immediate growth opportunity for a new owner. • The business does not currently focus at all on residential HVAC service and sales. Acquiring or building a residential division could diversify the revenue stream by tapping into another complementary market.
Support & Training:
Current ownership is willing to commit up to 45 days training to new ownership as part of the sell of the business and will be available by phone as needed. If the new owner prefers, the current owner is willing to stay on as a consultant of the business for a longer term.
