A Tarrant County based restaurant group is exploring options to divest it’s two franchise restaurant units. The units are fast casual (no table service) serving burgers, fries, non-alcoholic drinks, and other items. Current combined annualized 2019 revenue is $2.35m with $358k in EBITDA. Unit #1 has been operating since 2011 and is the franchise system's highest grossing restaurant in Texas out of 31 other franchises. Unit #2 was acquired from its previous owner in 2016, after it had been operating since 2011. In the first full year of operating under our ownership (2017) Unit #2 saw a 21% increase in year-over-year sales. For the first 6 months of 2019 Unit #1 is up 14%, while Unit #2 is up 26% in Gross Sales.

Both restaurants perform very well financially and provide owners with strong cash flow. For that reason, we are opportunistic sellers; only serious offers will be considered.

Both units have favorable leases with 7 years remaining on Unit #1 and 12 years remaining on Unit #2. All equipment has been serviced by a quarterly maintenance contract since inception.
Competition:
Unit #1 is the dominant burger concept in the immediate trade area with $1.3m in gross sales . Unit #1 has been operating since 2011 on an end cap of a large fully leased power center (Academy anchor) in a neighborhood with median household income of approx. $70k per year. Unit #2 is located on the end cap of a high-traffic Kroger anchored shopping center in a neighborhood with median household income of approx. $100k per year. Since taking over this restaurant in 2016 we have experienced a high growth rate with 2019 annualized sales reaching $959k.
Growth & Expansion:
With both units providing immediate steady cash flow, this opportunity is a great platform for additional store development in the Tarrant County and beyond. There are opportunities for further store development in Granbury, Weatherford, Cleburne, and Fort Worth proper. Unit #2 recently partnered with Door Dash for delivery sales; driving delivery sales of incremental $2,200/wk average. Unit #1 (highest grossing in TX) has the opportunity to see similar or better results by adding delivery service.
