Business Description

Very fun. Very unique. Home based. Relocatable. Since 1971.

How Cool are JUKEBOXES!

I have a somewhat whimsical, nearly mystical, very unique, awfully fun, simply amazing, as well as highly rewarding business I’d like to sell in an industry I pioneered nearly 50 years ago.

My customers tell me I have the “coolest business” and “greatest job” in the world. To me, it's a labor of love.

Everyone everywhere loves jukeboxes. When viewed or mentioned, people’s eyes light up, a huge smile comes across their face and they gleefully tell of their encounters and experiences through life with one or more of these beauties.

Next thing you know they’re asking all about the history and magical workings of these marvelous machines. That’s why I wear a uniform with my product’s name on it most everywhere I go.

JUKEBOXES are loved in nearly every culture in the world because they play the International language of love and peace …. MUSIC!

Through the years my unique venture and I have been featured numerous times on TV and in hundreds of print articles around the world. In 2017 the Music Magazine BILLBOARD published an article on me and the mysterious items I sell and why everybody loves them.

In 2015 NPR Radio rode around and kidded around with us for an entire day. My jukes have been in Super Bowl commercials and portrayed on Rose Parade floats. We’re currently featured on a new TV show out of Canada. I've been offered to do a TV series a number of times.

Maybe you wouldn’t mind the constant notoriety, never ending calls, emails and troves of smiling customers. Or how about what it's like bringing joy to and getting to meet some big names you've always admired?

As you might expect, jukeboxes appreciate rapidly in value and will continue to do so well into the future. They’re a great investment.

It’s a wonderful feeling each time you finish rebuilding a jukebox and you send the customer photos of the final product. Then when you deliver it to the customer they are so happy and excited they frequently will hug you. Or if you ship it to them they send back photos of themselves hugging their new baby (the jukebox).

This would be the perfect business for a family or even a buyer with simple common sense. This isn’t rocket science. But if you love hands on projects you’ll love this. Yet, on the other hand, if you just want to own and operate a very cool company, I can help you hire the techs wherever you are.

No two days are ever the same. Every day is a new adventure and sometimes even a challenge. I’d do this job for free if I could. Heck, my neighbors, who by the way, all hate their jobs, tell me the same thing.

These decades have brought me so much excitement, pleasure and fun it’s hard to describe. But it's not me personally that draws people to seek me out; it’s the jukeboxes.

I would love to see someone take over and continue the legacy of producing high quality products born of American ingenuity while appreciating what it stands for in our wonderful American culture.

You could continue to keep an American Icon living on well into the future and not just in the history books but in homes (mostly) and businesses around the world.

There are numerous avenues you can take this business down and expand it to no ends. Back in the day, we were in huge shopping malls with ads on TV and lots of employees. Now it’s just me and simpler.

Although every bit of what I have said has happened and is still happening, I tell you all this only to tease you. To make you wonder how it is that “Nobody Doesn’t like JUKEBOXES”.

So if you or someone you know has a few hundred thousand bucks lying around, we should talk.
Do not call our business line but rather send me a simple email with your contact info including phone number and a good time to call you back.

Detailed Information

Included in asking price
I operate my business out of my residence which permits me to set up customer’s appointments anytime they like. We’ve closed down our unnecessarily huge shop and now are able to perform everything we do in a 400 SqFt shop. People around the world tell us when they Google “jukebox” our site comes up within the first few pages, thus allowing the business to be operated as an E-commerce only or combined with a brick and mortar. We have over 200 jukeboxes and millions of parts plus a 25' neon store sign, landline since 1980 and amazing website of 19 years (Home Based)
I haven’t needed to advertise in any manner for over a decade yet occasionally place an ad on Craigslist with low dollar products for sale. What this proves is that people are seeking out my product even without being prompted by advertising. I don’t need or use eBay. I have very few competitors around the world.
Growth & Expansion:
This industry is only limited by the number of experienced employees you want. Yet it should be set up in a Major US city for worldwide recognition. Be careful if you advertise, you will have more business than you can handle. About 5 years ago, I began to buy up and in a way amass as many worthwhile jukeboxes as I could while anticipating selling the business. I figured the buyer would want inventory since he might not know how or where to get it from. So all my profit for the last several years have gone into inventory that could last a good whil
Cash Only
Support & Training:
I have no employees other than a part time assistant with common sense; but I have long running contract shops around LA that provide a major percentage of the technical work. If the business were to stay in Southern California, I could easily consult and help make the buyer have an even more successful business than it is now.
Reason for Selling:
At my age it's just more than I want to do by myself anymore.
