The trucks have assigned parking spots inside the FedEx hub when they are not in use. Package Handlers load and unload the trucks when they return at night, and load them early in the morning prior to dispatch. The Contractor works out of a home office during the day where they monitor their driver's progress at various points throughout the day to ensure all packages are going to be delivered and picked up on time. On average, the Contractor can spend 1-3 hours per day at the terminal during dispatch hours. Some Contractors only go in once a week. (Home Based)
