This is an RV rental business in the Houston, TX area that's been in business for over 11 years . We rent or lease luxury motor homes. We also developed an RV Rental Management program for RV owners. In the past few years we’ve expanded to offer RV Repair & Mobile RV Repair, both body work & mechanical. Our growth over the past 11 years can be attributed to us offering a great product, at a great price, and having the best customer service in our industry.
One of the things we’re most proud of is our work within the community. We’ve donated the use of our time and motor homes to many charitable organizations such as: Make a Wish Foundation, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, American Cancer Society, United Way, MS-150 Bike race, and various other ways of supporting the less fortunate. We feel blessed to be in this business that allows us to meet so many wonderful families. We’re also very proud of our reputation and the great reviews we've received on Google, Yelp, and with the Better Business Bureau (A+Certified) (with no complaints in the past 11 years). When people contact us about renting an RV, we tell them to check out our competition. Look at the quality of their RV’s versus our RV’s, and above all things, check everyone out on Google Reviews, Yelp Reviews, and with the Better Business Bureau. I'm confident there’s not a single RV rental dealer, that has over 11 years of RV rental experience in the State of Texas and quite possibly the entire US, that’s as well respected and is rated any higher than us.
We rent both Class A & Class C RV's that range in size from 25' to over 40'. Both gas and diesel. We own (2) of the RV's in our fleet but all others are on consignment from individual owner's. The owners agree to let us keep their RV's at our location where we keep them clean and ready for rental, at all times. We offer two different type Rental Consignment Programs to RV owners. The first plan is for RV's that are 3 years old or newer. We split the rental revenue 50/50 and the owner pays for the oil & filter changes and all minor and major repairs. On the other plan, we split the revenue 60/40 and we get the 60% and we do the oil & filter changes and minor repairs, anything under $25. All other parts and repairs are paid for by the RV owner. The number of RV's presently in our fleet is 12 and this will vary from time to time as we retire some of our older RV's and get newer models. We're just a small mom & pop, family business, that my wife and I manage with 12 to 15 RV's fairly easy. We've always used mobile RV technicians anytime an RV needed repairs or cleaning. It's quite a bit more expensive but we preferred not to have any full time employees, on our payroll. We've both gotten a lot older and neither of us are in good health and it's time to move on and retire. This has been a great family business and we've worked very hard to always do the right thing, by our customers and RV owners. Because our RV's rent for $300 to over $600 per night our clients are most often in the upper income bracket. Most of our renters are families taking 1 week to 2 week trips to all areas of the U.S. and Canada. Certain times of year we have a 7-night minimum and all other times when have a 3-night minimum. We also rent to corporate clients and businesses for various functions. We've been fortunate to have established a great working relationship with the film & entertainment industry from Houston to L.A. to New York and have provided RV's to many of the worlds biggest and most famous entertainers and sports stars. This business is not dependent upon location and could be relocated very easily or even be a home based business with the RV's stored at an RV storage facility.

We office out of an extremely nice 2005 Palm Harbor (Windsor)16' X 76' mobile home, which is furnished with high end office furniture & Persian rugs, as nice as any office in an office complex. Palm Harbor is a top of the line mobile home. (See photos). Also included in the sale are 12 large Palm trees, potted and placed in various locations on the property we lease on a very busy stretch of FM 1960 Road In Houston.( Open lease $2000 a month).The're (2) RV's included in the sale. (1) 2014, 28' Coachman Freelander. (2) 2010, 31' Coachman Concord.
Competition:
The number of people renting RV's continues to grow every year and we've seen an increase in RV Rental companies, but the single factor people use in determining who to rent from is REVIEWS. EVERYBODY checks you out on GOOGLE, YELP and with the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU. Our Google rating is 4.8/ 5 which is virtually unheard of in this business that's so heavily influenced by customer service. Yelp rates us as No.1 or 2 in the entire Houston market. We're a Certified member of the Better Business Bureau and carry an A+ rating with 0 complaints in 11 years.
Growth & Expansion:
Business was started in 2008 and grossed approximately $60,000. Gross for 2018 was $447,000. This business only rents the RV's you drive. This was a decision my wife and I made early on. But there is also a tremendous market in renting the towable RV's or travel trailers. It would be a bit more labor intensive but with the addition of a full time RV mechanic and a helper, would become another extremely profitable revenue stream and would also enhance the mobile RV Repair side of the business, which we never pushed that hard.
