Business Description

Electrical Contractor Business with large customers

Established with many large commercial companies in Utah and Salt Lake counties to maintain and remodel and build new buildings (including engineering and design). This will help to get past the next market crash!

Ran entire business with 3 employees in 2017 (one crew) but we are set up for three crews. Profits and cash flow shown are with the 3 employees only! Tried to get other crews going but could not find another journeyman available to run the crew. We passed up a lot of offers we could have done and increased our income by a lot.

We have specialized in commercial remodels but also do residential and specialized work such as Christmas light shows, lazer tag centers, PLC programming and control box building, basements and houses. We offer a need spectrum of controls and options that make the electrical portion of our work fun and exciting for our customers.

We have work lined out till April and continue to bid to keep work lined out.
Our customer base includes the largest companies in the valley as well as developers and contractors who have gained loyal recurring work from many commercial customers.

Facilities:
We currently use a shop on my personal property to store supplies and park the vehicles. We would want the materials and vehicles moved. 3 trucks and many tools and equipment to operate 3 crews. $36k in vehicles $20k in equipment and materials
Competition:
We advertise solely by YP.com and word of mouth. We have become common subs for Marriott because of YP.com. Word of mouth has gained us many customers such as Adobe, DOMO, Canyon Park Technology Center, as well as some wealthy entrepreneurs that continue to purchase and remodel businesses around Utah. The prospects of work during an economical crash is actually quite good (that is when they buy businesses and buildings).
Growth & Expansion:
We have invested into the physical growth, have the customer growth, but lack the employee strength. We now lease workers from other companies running up to 10 workers some times. At one time had two crews (2015) but we were conned out of a great deal of money that set us back. We recovered and really set our company to run much more efficiently through the next two years. We also set up

Support & Training:
I am willing to work for two years to transition the purchase smoothly. I can run books, bid, run jobsites, and take care of customers. I am a master Electrician and will be willing to offer my licenses to allow the new owner to move forward with the business. Further details can be shared on the possibilities in person.
