As you add children to your current class schedule, you are adding revenue, but the cost of the class, mostly rent and musician salaries, stays the same. The way it works in parents sign their children up for one 45 minute class time per week. They pay a monthly enrollment fee, which is paid automatically with a credit card, and they attend class as long as they want. The registration and payment is done through the franchise website. If a parent wants to stop their membership, they can simply cancel or put it on pause for a few months.

The classes are held in a toy store, which is a great relationship. Many of our new customers find us because they see our ads and fliers in the toy store. Also, the toy store owners love having us there because our customers - the kids and their parents - walk through the store to get to class, which always generates business for them. It's great for the owner as well because your rent is paid per class. No class, no rent, lower expenses.

The band runs the classes, so as the owner, you do not need to attend. The main role of the owner is to manage the band schedule and to market to new customers in order to grow revenue.

We currently have 3 band members who run most of the classes: guitar, keyboard, and drum players. We also have substitute musicians who fill in when the lead players can't be there. The musicians are hourly, part-time and the payroll for them is all managed through the franchise payroll processor.

The content of the classes is provided by our franchise office in NYC. All of the curriculum and marketing materials are provided by them. They have a team to support the owners with anything they need to run the business. They also provide training to new band members as needed.

Songs for Seeds is a growing franchise. This location was the first one in Denver. Locations in Highlands Ranch and Parker are also opening. Songs for Seeds locations are opening across the country and this is a great opportunity to get into a location with all the work already done.

Our product is different from other children's programs in that we have a three piece live band that delivers the learning through live music. While there are other children's programs out there, none of them offer the quality of instruction you get from Songs for Seeds.
Growth & Expansion:
Growth can be accomplished in multiple ways: 1. Add children to existing classes. As you add kids, your revenue increases without increasing your cost as the per class cost is the same no matter how many kids attend. 2. Add class times. More class times means more students enrolled. 3. Add parties and events. We host birthday parties for children which run between $200-$400 per event depending on the number of musicians and length of party. This is great added income and also marketing to all the kids who attend the party.

We will provide instruction on setting up for the class. Training on all the systems and processes will be provided by the franchise office in NYC.
