15 year old online retail business focused on imported food and cookware products. We import, warehouse, and ship directly to consumers from our own facility. We have an established network of trusted overseas suppliers, an impeccable history of direct container shipments into the Port of Seattle and Tacoma (meeting USDA, FDA and Customs requirements), and we've made direct retail shipments to over 140,000 customers nationwide. Given our unique position as an established importer with direct access to the finest suppliers overseas, there is enormous growth potential in wholesale and food service channels (from which we receive a lot of inquiry but haven't yet pursued).
Our sophisticated websites include a catalog containing details of the hundreds of items for sale, a collection of over 300 recipes we authored and photographed ourselves, over 100 high quality videos we filmed overseas and had professionally produced (hosted on our website as well as Youtube where we have thousands of subscribers), four high-profile domain names, and daily web traffic in the range of 8,000 - 10,000 unique visitors per day.
Our accounting software captures all order details and has at this time a database of over 140,000 retail customers. We've created a great brand, and tremendous loyalty among culinary enthusiasts, catering professionals, and top chefs nationwide. Our database has never been shared and is valuable on its own. For many years we've published a weekly product update, currently sent via email to 79,000 recipients.
Given our high-traffic websites and large existing customer base of culinary enthusiasts, it would be possible to create your own branded product line and gain relatively strong national recognition among thousands of "foodies" fairly quickly.
