Healthcare Technology Provider: EHR, Online Reputation, Consulting
Charleston County, SC
Established medical technology provider with multiple lines of business, seeking strategic options include outright sale, merger, or onboarding partners.
As of the end of July 2014, trailing twelve month revenue of $1.3M, gross profit of $894K, and $380K EBITDA.
Core business is the resale, installation, maintenance, and servicing of a top Electronic Medical Record ("EHR") software. The EHR OEM is based in California. Customers primarily located on the East Coast, and include multi-specialty practices with between 20 to 80 providers. Company has developed and sells bolt on and independent software to support clinical and financial efficiencies for our customers.
Our high profile relationships have led to various consulting and project management opportunities ranging from CTO advisory services, CFO advisory services, EHR implementation, outsourcing, onboarding, and various other initiatives.
The Company has developed, in house, an online survey and reputation management software specifically designed for various medical enterprise accounts. The service survey's patients daily through email invitations and an online survey template. Results and metrics are available for consumption. To supplement the service, physician and location online profiles at sites like Google, Yelp, Healthgrades, Vitals, and others, are tracked and aggregated. To enhance a group's online reputation, the service identifies advocates and encourages them to leave unbiased reviews online, ultimately promoting the practice and driving additional patients.
The survey and reputation service was launched in late 2013, currently supports 7 customers representing $200K in annual revenue. Sales have been bootstrapped to date. Our Company believes this service has the potential to grow substantially over the next few years. CAHPS certification will be a priority over the next 18 months.
Lastly, and although pre-revenue, the Company is currently pulling together multiple hospital CTO's and source funding the development of a unique EHR reporting tool specific to a separate acute EHR platform. This opportunity has significant potential. Goal is to formalize an agreement between parties before the end of 2014.
