We are highly ranked #1 or # 2 on most search engines. This is an excellent nitcht market business. About 20% of sales to Oregon and 20% Washington, 20% Calilfornia and 40% to the rest of the country. 98% of the people who contact us are looking for and intending to buy douglas fir flooring, moldings or wall and ceiling paneling. It's not like a store (we once had) where people take home sample after sample trying to decide what they want. People who want douglas fir want douglas fir and no substitutes.
I have 40 years wood products experince, including 25 years wholesaling plywood and lumber, 5 years exporting and importing wood products and 15 years flooring sales. I purchase any residual or secondary products directly from the manufacturers, especially those items that mainstream flooring stores don't, won't and can't stock. I purchase mainstream items as well. I have great supplier relationships whom are all aware I am selling my business and are willing to work with the new owner.
All of the moldings, including stair treads come from a distributor. I know longer inventory these items and my primary distributor packages and ships via UPS on my behalf. This is a great area to expand and requires no inventory.

My next goal is to open several small retail stores that would stock a few standard items and display all the other items. I have a 1,100 sqft office / warehouse picked out in a perfect Portland location for the first store. The idea is to display everyghing in the window which would include 10 flooring items. 25 moldings and trim stock items. 4 paneling items, stair treads and parts and our latest product, Timber table, desk and counter Tops. It would be an option to have someone at the kiosk location full time or just to meet customers. We would start with a green neon on sign inside the display window. Good ceiling lighting on all products that would include prices. At the Portland site, 3 sidewalk signs. The idea is that customers will accept a Kiosk being closed and would enjoy viewing all the products in one place.

I am not looking for an investor. I prefere an 80% working partner or am willing to sell 100% with up to 1 year (negotiable) training and consulting. If you buy 100% I wuould be open to a 1-3 year consultation agreement. With 80% I would be fully available to assit wherever needed, however I would be assisting much of the time from Hawaii.
