New Childrens Fashion Swimwear Co. For Sale
Poised to launch now, designs recently finalized, soft launch is over.
Las Vegas, NV
Customers include Sea World, Zulilly and Marshalls. Company has spent the last two years getting designs and supply chain optimized while soft-launching from word-of-mouth with little promotion outside 30 phone calls and emails amongst friends and family. A guaranteed winner, Teeny Wingkini is an inspiring, impressive, unique children's swimwear line and concept. Established in 2011, the Company has quickly generated a buzz within the children’s swimwear segment as the only line to feature fairy-themed waterproof detachable wings. The line can best be described as, where costume and fun, meet functional swimwear. In less than two years, Teeny Wingkini Swimwear or ‘the Company’ has garnered the interest of some of the biggest names in the industry, becoming a vendor for over 30 stores internationally, including SeaWorld Parks, SwimOutlet.com (the largest swimwear company online), and Zulilliy.com (with over 4 million members).
Retailers as far as Lebanon, Kuwait, and the Virgin Islands have searched, found and ordered from Teeny Wingkini. The Company keeps growing as well, with Teeny Wingkini Swimwear just receiving a purchase order from The Marshall Retail Group (over 90 stores nationwide). However, despite the unique product offering and growth in popularity of Teeny Wingkini Swimwear, the Company remains captive to the restraints of its resources. The Company has accomplished a lot with a little backing and even a marketing plan or budget. With an influx of capital, there will also be fashion shows and growth opportunities for the sister product line for women, Mommy and Me Swimwear.
This concept and company can also be offered for sale.
Outside of social marketing, Teeny Wingkini LLC has yet to market the Teeny Wingkini Swimwear line, considerably slowing the momentum of the Company and its impact on its niche market. The children’s swimwear category has shown exceptional growth over the last few years. The category reported nearly 25% growth over last five years. According to New York research firm NDP Group, the world market for swimwear and beachwear is projected to exceed $17.6 billion by the year 2015. Women’s swimwear represents approximately 70% of the total market and children’s swimwear accounts for approximately 14% of the market. Young girl’s swimwear accounts for $1.72 billion. Teeny Wingkini Swimwear ideally fits within this segment, with highly competitive price points (MSRP: $49.99; Sale: $29.99; Clearance: $19.99).
This potential home-based business can be run out of a garage and bedroom due the small ziplock sized swimsuit bags. Ideal for a business minded couple or wife who wants something to call her own and grow.
The reaction is always the same when a potential buyer sees our suits, they always think they are adorable and they are always impressed. The new ownership team simply has to do the work of promoting to stores and end users directly via store lists and emails, and via mommy blogs and beauty contestant magazines, websites and facebook pages. We spent the last two years perfecting the suits and learning the industry and making all the necessary adjustments, contacts and vendors. The buyer gets the advantage of a ready-to-launch line.
A typical response we get is:
"I looked through the attachment and I think that it is a really cute idea. I also like many of the fabric patterns you used. Would it be possible for you to send some samples for me to take a look at? I have added my address below. Please put it to my attention."
I have received the samples, thank you!
I like the product, but am currently figuring out the best possible merchandising scenario. We shoot everything flat, so I'm trying to decide if the product will translate on our site with a flat shot. I'm going to play with a few ideas and will let you know next week.
