The business was originally based on providing excellent, trusted Handyman services, to answer a wide and important need. In recent time, the brand has expanded to include Home Modification services for Seniors and the Disabled. What that means is that, let's say the client may have a need for a barrier-free shower. HandyPro has many vendors - all of which are very highly reputable and reliable, with proven products - who can answer the specific need, such as special dimensions, finishes, features, OR something totally outside the box, which is site-built. And that same breadth of consideration has been given with the selection of walk-in tub vendors, grab-bar vendors, you-name-it vendors. As an owner, you don't need to possess Handyman or construction skills - your job is to acquire Craftsmen and Sub-Contractors with those skills, who allow you to run and maintain the business.
As an incoming Franchisee, you would need to complete the vetting process of the Franchisor, and the Franchisee training provided by the Franchisor, paid for by the seller. The purchase price includes the franchise territories, the book of customers belonging to HandyPro of West Michigan, and any remaining marketing materials, Craftsmen uniforms and Franchisee-furnished supplies. There is no product inventory, per se, as the materials for each project are purchased for that specific project (so your overhead is very limited in the way of inventory costs).
