About Me

My sculptures are designed to reveal a connection between motion and emotion; moments that are still, yet full of life. My pieces are meant to inspire, to encourage, and to motivate the viewer to appreciate our humanity and the natural world in which we live. Over the last three decades, I have lived and worked as a sculptor, in The United States, Brazil, Columbia, and Mexico . The travels and creative opportunities have afforded me a personal look into many cultures and numerous families from varied walks in life. These experiences have broadened my scope as a man and an artist. I frequently call on the memories of those people and places to ignite my creative processes. My style of work is known for immaculate line and balance of form, classically depicted by the heroic sea lion family, “Guardians of the Gate,” on San Francisco’s Fisherman’s Wharf. While I have completed many public pieces, it is always a pleasure to create for a private collector. Many lasting relationships, that I hold dear today, have begun with commissions from collectors around the world. I sculpt the human figure, animals with which we share this Earth, and original abstracts. Bronze and stone are my preferred mediums. It gives me great pride to know that I am creating art pieces that will be appreciated for many generations to come.
