About Me

Retired Volunteer Firefighter-General Contractor now living in Elm Creek, Nebraska, US Born in Wyoming on a subsistence ranch/farm - k to 12th grade education completed - U S NAVY trained in personnel & resource management - 45 yrs self employed goods & services After completing obligation to government service, went into business providing a select group of clients with goods and services from small home construction, with emphasis on retrofitting existing structures, to custom fabrication and repair of heirloom furniture. Repairing household cabinetry and upholstered furniture developed into areas of carpet and window dressings which complemented the home retrofitting department. Additionally my business provided complete restoration services for antique vehicles when my own antique delivery vehicle attracted the interest from my existing clients. As a local small business operation I was recruited by the volunteer Fire Service because of my extensive background in firefighting from the training in the United States NAVY fire academy in Great Lakes Illinois. It is with all of the background and experience with fabrication of custom built "street rod" automobiles that eventually led to the fabrication and repair of RV type vehicles as well as property development, that has given birth to the interest and research for resorts aimed at private communities of class A motorcoach owners. Because of the demands on my involvement with so many different projects at several locations, I began living full time in a class A motorcoach so no matter where I had to be, I was always "home". Eventually society began to be more accepting of this lifestyle choice, so were willing to provide sites to rent by the day, week or month for the new and developing market of American entrepreneurs and pedestrian citizens who needed the freedom from traditional home ownership without sacrificing the comfort of home ownership. Today I am focusing my energy and talents on developing resorts for "residents" rather than a campground for transitional patrons. Because more and more retired Americans are trading off their traditional homes for the new market of larger motorcoaches instead of a double wide mobile home , I have investigated the possibilities of creating a business model to offer to these travelers, a product that provides more than just a temporary parking area at a roadside rest. I have listened to the clients who need to have an actual address so they may declare it as their permanent residence to allow them to maintain a driver's license and other needed documents and privileges that come with traditional home ownership and still be able to travel across the country. Any campground or resort may offer these same advantages. But few offer the services and benefits that this business model I have designed will. Because of my many years of living this way I have come to understand all of the needs that are very important to a coach owner that have always been only available at remote locations. This creates a hardship for the RV owners when the need arises to access these services. All of this brings me to my current business venture of creating resorts to meet all of the needs of the modern motorcoach owner. For most entrepreneurs, this business is just another "buy it for one dollar... sell it for two dollars" type of operation with no real concept of the actual hardships faced by their client base. I feel this insight on my part will allow the proposed business model to be even more profitable and equally able to succeed in a market that has been growing substantially for the past decade. With the additional programs and services of my resorts, I see an industry trend developing in future years as more businesses adopt this model.
