About Me

CHARLES W. ARMSTRONG, Senior Broker Associate Mr. Armstrong joined the staff of Weichert Realtors in 2009 and has achieved sales awards for the past 3 years. He performs a variety of commercial and residential real estate tasks, but especially likes being a Tenant/Buyer representative. He has done many leases and sales each year since becoming a full time real estate broker in 1998. He is also an expert on the Westside and Manitou Springs, where he has lived off and on for most of his life. Mr. Armstrong has been a Licensed Real Estate Broker since 1984, doing real estate sales, projects and property management as well. He also has many years of experience in management in both public and private sector businesses, with large corporations, government and as a small business owner. He has an MBA in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, Milwaukee, Wisconsin and a BS in Electrical Engineering from the, University of Colorado at Boulder, Colorado. Prior to returning to his hometown of Colorado Springs in 1979 with his wife Helen, and 2 children he enjoyed a 10-year career as a manager of corporate planning, mergers, and acquisitions with two Fortune 500 firms, and was also a planning commissioner where he lived in Wisconsin and was the City Administrator for Manitou Springs, former Councilman and Mayor pro-tem. He currently lives in Manitou Springs and is active in community service through Kiwanis International, several professional organizations, and with his church. He has also taught economics at Manitou Springs High School through Junior Achievement. He is a speaker and teacher about the use of Reverse Mortgages to assist today’s Senior Citizens achieve a more comfortable retirement. He is a former Director of Cheyenne Village, Inc., a residential facility for the adult developmentally disabled. Hobbies are computers, skiing and golf. He gets great satisfaction from his work with buyers and sellers of real estate, both commercial and residential.
