About Me

Brad T. Reid is a strong and passionate leader with a proven track record of providing high-level services in a multiple facility and membership constituency environment with experience within many highly regarded country clubs and restaurants. An intuitive style resulting in a sincere and visibly engaged presence with Members, Guests and Staff, with an exceptionally strong focus on enhancing the transparency of efforts and communications. A Team Builder who has a history of attracting, developing and retaining a high performance staff. He was part of the opening management team with two separate restaurant groups in Ohio with the Malibu Grill an American Californian cuisine with wood fired pizzas and grill items as well as the Bayou Café with a Cajun creole cuisine, a strong seafood focus with a raw bar for fresh shucked oysters and many other shellfish options. Brad moved to Florida in 2000 from Ohio where he has continued his 20 years of experience in the Food & Beverage Industry managing restaurants and private clubs. As the club manager with Waterlefe Golf & River club he was the integral influence in the ground up design work for the member private River Club and then completed the total food & beverage program design with the Golf Club as a separate facility. When he departed Waterlefe he spent 9 years as a sales manager with Southern Wine & Spirits. He has worked closely with hotels, restaurants, resorts, and nightclubs from South of the Skyway to the Peace River on the west coast and from Titusville to Port St. Lucie on the east coast of Florida and even spent some time covering the top 700 restaurants, hotels, resorts, bars, & nightclubs in the state of North Carolina from the outer banks to Asheville. Most recently Brad partnered with Vandyk group of companies USA and was part of the senior level management team that completely re-designed The Seafood Shack in Cortez, FL, where they demoed and redesigned 2 kitchens, the restaurant bar and draft beer systems for the building, and the banquet and catering bar as well as hiring a blend of new staff in addition to the new executive chef and complete re-design of the total food & beverage program in the re-branding efforts. When Brad isn’t mentoring Young Professionals, he is very involved with his church, an avid College Football fan, enjoys Boating and Golfing and loves being outdoors with his family.
