Facilities: 2 locations one in Denver and One in Col. Springs. The buyer will take over the balance sheet which includes $300k in Accounts Receivable and over $700K in equipment. All late model skid loaders, trucks, compactors, trailers, etc. Rent is only $2,000 for both locations. The main asset included in the sale, however, is our solid experienced employees in the field. The other asset is our reputation for the finest and most unique work.
Competition: That is the benefit of a niche industry, is that you are largely alone! It takes 3 years and scores of big jobs to truly establish a solid reputation where the largest companies in the US trust you. Because there is so little competition, especially in our region, we can earn the 30-40% gross margins that we do. These large customers and GCs are not going to employ unestablished companies to do this work. We ve been asked to complete $20MM of work for just 3 projects over the next 3-5 yrs. This is in addition to other work that we haven t pursued.
Growth/Expansion: Recession, what recession? We have never advertised or marketed our services. The work just comes to us. We are 70% referral and repeat customers. There are 3 new jobs coming on line that alone will bring over $20MM to us in the next 5 years. We have already started the planning phases on these projects. There are many other services and products that our loyal customers demand of us that we have not pursued. Again, the new owner can provide these. We work for 25% of the largest GCs, developers, home owners associations and builders in the state.
