Paradise Sandal Co. first opened its doors on January 2, 2003 at the Rainbow Mall in Kihei, Maui. Following a three year period there, the business had outgrown the space and needed a larger one to conduct business. At that time a space double the size of the existing one was available at Azeka II Shopping Center. The new lease was signed in September of 2005 giving us three months to do a build out, consisting of new tile floor, shelving, counter, paint and moving a wall to open up the storage room. This store is unique in the fact that it is not a mainland chain store so, as the buyer, you can specifically purchase sandals with the typical needs of the Maui shopper in mind. The current owner has developed a great connection with the major shoe representatives, as they do love people from Hawaii, and would be happy to pass on those relationships to any new owner.
