This is a mom and pop convenience store with no gas. Family operated, wife primarily runs the store and husband does the purchases with outside vendors, banking etc. They have 1 car so both open store at same time and close at same time, thus they are exhausted by the end of the day. This store sells a large selection of beer in the 9-door reach-in cooler. The beer markup is approximately 10-12% and the cigarette markup approximately 30%. Grocery and other miscellaneous foods have a markup of 30%. They also have apparel, t-shirts, caps, watches, body jewelry and other sundry items at a 100% markup. They sell many phone cards.
