Competition: We are the only complete mattress factory in the area (approximate 100 mile radius). Custom sizes are a niche market. We are established with a good reputation and repeat clientele and have high traffic locations in two sister cities. There is much untapped contract market in the area with two universities, motels, etc. Cons we haven t implemented outside sales people to capture the contract market.

Growth/Expansion: There is large potential for untapped contract sales in the area. Some of these are the two universities and motels plus others. Someone who can handle outside sales is needed for this. Also possible is promote and expand the furniture and accessory lines to make a one-stop sleep specialty store for mattress, furniture, pillows, sheets, etc. This could also be done as a section for a children s sleep specialty store. We are currently doing no advertising. Advertising budget could easily increase sales.
