This business has been a full service glass & glazing business since incorporation in 1982. The owners originally opened their first glass business in Tennessee in 1968 specializing in all types of glass work including storefront glass & glazing, insulated units, glass shelving, showcase glass, wire glass, beveled glass, mirrors, shower doors and bath enclosures. Recently they have added porch enclosures and sunrooms. The company services more than 1,000 accounts in the middle Tennessee and southern Kentucky area. Their marketing area is mostly in a 50 mile radius of the town they are located in extending beyond that at times. This quality glass business has repeat customers dating back to 1989. The future for the industry looks consistent with plenty of opportunity for this company to grow by adding additional service offerings such as auto, new window installation and service contracts with insurance carriers. Some experience would be helpful, but not necessary. Bringing general business experience and savvy is what is needed to maintain and grow this business. The current team in place will stay on through the transition and perhaps beyond as employees. The business is approximately 90% commercial and 10% residential.

Facilities: The facility is approximately 7200 feet with room for expansion and is rented from the Family trust. The front office has a reception area with product showroom, multiple administrative offices, and a separate area for the support staff. The manufacturing and warehouse area is approximately 60% of the total square footage and is efficiently laid out to maximize the available space. The warehouse area is fully equipped with metal shelving and racks to accommodate a large amount of extruded products required for commercial work

Competition: The company markets its products primarily in the Middle Tennessee and southern Kentucky region. While a small number of customers fall outside of this area the majority of customers are within a two hour drive of the business. An important marketing method utilized by the company is the involvement in the F. W. Dodge Reports. Word of mouth referrals have become a big part of the ongoing success in the residential market.

Growth/Expansion: Excellent Customer Service; Very Competitive In Bid Situations; Committed, Long Term Staff; Excellent Machinery Able To Complete Any Job; Membership In Desirable Engineer Association (Only Glass Company); Stellar Reputation.

Support/Training: The owners will provide full training and support.

Reason Selling: The owners are preparing to implement their retirement plan.
