ASTI Business Description: ASTI has been in continuous operation since 1984. With many busnesses in this industry being short-lived, our long years in operations has augmented our reputation as a solid, capable, knowledgeable company which stands behind it s work. We install broadband communication systems of all types, with our primary focus being satellite and terrestrial antenna reception systems. Examples include Private Cable systems for hospitals, distribution systems in business that feed 100 plus receivers; antenna farms for communication facilities such as TV stations, Radio stations and Internet content providers and simple systems in business and offices that feed only a few televisions. We also offer two way satellite systems such as Wild Blue and Sky Vista. These allow for Internet and email services to locations not served by cable or DSL, and are also popular for redundant systems for businesses that have emergency action plans. We do limited residential work. This primarily consists of higher end custom installation. Recently we have added on the Wild Blue residential Internet services and have been offering those to homes as well as business. There are many opportunities for growth and expansion in our field of work. With the right personnel and funding, one could expand the residential side of the business. There are also many untapped commercial jobs. At this time, we rely on the customer to contact us looking for the system they want. We have not had the time nor resources to follow up on the many new construction and remodeling jobs that are posted on a number of sources. There are many other avenues open. This is a technology business, and it is always growing and evolving.
