Established in 2006, Gigglywinks (formerly Kiddlywinks Toy Store) has served babies, children, parents and grandparents on the hunt for specialty toys and baby products that can't be found in the big box stores. Located on historic Main Street in Placerville, California, Gigglywinks welcomes tourists from all over the world that are traveling to and from Lake Tahoe. Set in this beautiful Gold Rush town, locals bring their out-of-town guests to Main Street to experience the history and charm of the street. We attract "locals" from Sacramento, Folsom, El Dorado Hills and even as far as the Roseville and Rocklin areas. Of course, Placerville residents love having us in town and so do other towns like Camino and Pollock Pines to the east, El Dorado, Shingle Springs and Diamond Springs to the south, and Georgetown, Coloma, and many Foothill towns along Highway 49.
