Summary Description: Mulligan Marketing Concepts was founded in 1989 and trademarked its name and logos in 1991. The company was originally designed to cater to the health club industry's need to raise immediate cash and increase foot traffic in their facilities. The explosion of health clubs and fitness centers in the 80's left the majority of business owners scratching their heads wondering how to capture the market from the overwhelming competition. In additional to the basic cost of running the business the competition left little, if any revenue for marketing. I, Chuck Thompson President/CEO and founder of MMC recognized the problem and immediately began to work on the solutions. I realized there were two major areas I needed to address. First, identify the untapped market (individuals who were not already interested in health and fitness) then, find the most effective marketing strategy to get them in the door. But by far the most challenging task was to achieve all of this at no cost to the club owner; due to the fact that most owners are extremely cash poor. After a few years of research I was able to design a promotion that targets the "de-conditioned market" and raises enormous amounts of cash (over $40,000,000.00 thus far) with absolutely no risk to the owners. After more than fifteen (15) years of success I began to offer this program as license territories. Today others are using my programs as licensees and are successfully implementing them with great financial rewards. In 2006, after years of researching the Golf industry, I designed a similar program for the drastically overbuilt, cash poor, Golf industry, suffering the similar woes since the late 1990's. Although there are numerous differences in these two industries, the results are the same; raising desperately needed cash (over $4,000,000.00 thus far) at no risk. We are currently developing a promotion for Ski Resorts. We have 10 territories and only 5 left n the US. Each territory is $150,000.

Facilities: There is minimal overhead cost to operate a license territory i.e. phone, fax, Internet, transportation, hotel/travel expenses, post card solicitation drops etc. One of the most attractive aspects of this business is that it can easily be managed from a home office.

Support: You will receive a training manual, accompanied with brochures, presentation DVDs and continual support and training as needed and/or desired. We will work with you hand in hand (in your territory so you earn as you learn) until you have your first five properties up and running from the first call to the final day of the client's promotion.

Competition: Through the years we have had a few "mom and pops" try to copy us but with no success.

Explanation of Fees and Payments: As a licensee you receive 20% of the gross revenue raised from the promotions sold within your territory either by you or your independent contractors. Example: Your client's property raises 100K from our promotion he pays you 20K. You are responsible to pay a commission of 20% of the 20% you receive from the client (in this example 4K) to the corporate office as a commission for the behind the scenes work. If you finance a portion of your license fee then you will pay an additional 20% of your commissions to MMC until you have fully paid your balance.
