Looking for a national company that has a low start-up cost, high-profit potential and in a huge underserved market? Then FixRim is exactly what you are looking for.
About Us
FixRim was founded in June, 2008 as a subsidiary of Wheels America, the largest privately owned wheel remanufacturing company in the United States. With an inventory of over 30,000 wheels located at nine repair shops in Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, Chicago, New York, Miami, Philadelphia, San Francisco and Los Angeles, Wheels America offers an unmatched level of support to our franchisees. Overnight delivery from these locations, coupled with our fleet of service vehicles, ensures that almost any tire can be repaired on site in less that one hour or replaced in less than 24 hours.
Our Services and Equipment
Fix Rim offers mobile wheel repair services from our fully equipped trucks. These units contain everything you need to take care of damaged wheels including a downdraft spray booth, tire mounter and balancer, our patent pending wheel reconditioning tool and other necessary equipment to get the job done right. Onsite services include repair of road rash, scrapes, fading, peeling, oxidation and other cosmetic issues on almost any composite wheel up to 26. In addition, we can install, mount and balance new tires at the customers location. Daily management of your business is accomplished through our onsite proprietary software system which allows you to monitor and control accounting, inventory, scheduling, personnel and many other functions in real time.
Our Market
Our market is huge and growing. Today there are approximately 250,000,000 cars registered in the United States and over 85% of the new cars being produced come from the factory with composite wheels. Repair of these of these wheels has traditionally been fragmented between local Mom and Pop operations and a few fixed reconditioning shops located in major cities. Consequently, it was very common for individuals to simply replace a damaged wheel and pay retail prices which could range from $400 to over $1,000 per tire. Now FixRim offers a quick, on-site repair option for these tires at a cost generally ranging from $50 - $200, depending upon damage. In addition, by performing our work at their location, we save the customers time and effort.
