Book By Owner manages the hands-on services needed for people that own a vacation home and rent it out for additional income. The internet has recently enabled them to rent it out when they aren't using it, but they still need real, local people to service it. They book the guest and we do the rest. Most of our clients live many hours away from their 2nd home. Shortly after the guest books their vacation; we take over and arrange check-in, house-keeping and many other services. We'll even stock the fridge and recommend local attractions. Contracting out these services in resort towns is tough for the home-owner that doesn't live there and only has one property. Now, try finding a serviceman or skilled handyman on very short notice (like a plumber in the middle of the night). We take all the calls from the guest. We provide start-up assistance such as setting up the home with supplies and access control. We oversee long-term maintenance and security during the off-season.

We are the "Locals"; we go to school and church with these contractors; we develop these connections. And because we take care of so many homes, they will respond to our calls. The contractors would rather deal with us than a distant home-owner (we know the property and we ensure they'll get paid!). We provide the home-owner peace of mind that a real person is keeping an eye on their valuable property and responding the guest for any need. Although there is usually a busy (and dead) season in a resort town, our unique systems provide year-round work and steady income for you. By inspecting the home between every guest, we stay on top of minor repairs and maintenance before it becomes a problem. We build gratifying relationships with our clients.
