DAVE WILLIAMS: Principal - Dave Williams is one of the most experienced business brokers in Southwest Florida. Having practiced here since 1977, he has seen Southwest Florida grow from a small seasonal community into one of the fastest growing areas in the United States. In doing so he has developed unparalleled knowledge of the business community throughout Southwest Florida. During his long career Dave has either sold or supervised the sale of thousands of businesses. In many instances he is now working with a third generation of business buyers and sellers. He has served multiple terms as a State Director for the Florida Business Brokers Association and was one of the founding members of the Southwest Florida FBBA Chapter.
DAN SMITH: Principal - Mr. Smith is a licensed Florida Real Estate Broker with over 15 years of combined experience in business brokerage, regional corporate management, business ownership and sales. Aside from business brokerage, he has extensive background in the agricultural equipment industry having been involved in the start-up and co-ownership of All Coast Tractor in Labelle, Florida and having held regional sales management positions with Mahindra USA and Woods Equipment Company.
Mr. Smith has directed acquisitions between sellers and buyers ranging in value of $25,000 to over $7,000,000. He has consistently marketed and sold businesses in a variety of industries such as restaurants, retail, distribution, manufacturing, lawn & landscape, construction, marine and more. F. JOSEPH MARKS: Principal – Mr. Marks holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management. He has extensive background in hospitality and consulting industries resulting in an intuitive knowledge of the needs and concerns of both Sellers and Buyers. Mr. Marks is uniquely qualified at developing creative solutions for business acquisitions and divestitures. His experience in management consulting varies from in-depth analysis of a nationally recognized Fortune 500 company to developing and implementing effective marketing strategies for a local start-up company.
ANDREW WELSH: Principal - Andrew Welsh is originally from Cleveland, OH. He has dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Business Management and Hospitality Management. He has extensive background in developing strategies for businesses and developing plans to meet constantly changing needs of a highly competitive business market. He has also successfully owned and operated 3 landmark restaurants in Southwest Florida. His 27 years of living in the Southwest Florida area have given him extensive knowledge of trends and growth of the local business market.
LARRY SETTLE: Mr. Settle holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management. He has over twenty-five years of management experience with a number of U.S. and international corporations including Borg-Warner, Textron, Sumitomo and Thyssen Krupp. He has held a variety of operations and senior management positions including President and General Manager. His experience includes mergers and acquisitions, start-up, turnaround, expansion and divestiture.
PETER MAZZAGATTI: Mr. Mazzagatti holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Education and Accounting. He has over 30 years of experience as a business broker, and is a former high school teacher, having taught Distributive Education and Accounting. Over his career he has successfully negotiated or sold well over 1,000 operating businesses varying in price ranges from $50,000 to over $5,000,000.
HERM REMUS: Mr. Remus holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting. He has been a Business Broker since 1975 specializing in analysis, valuation and ultimately in the marketing and acquisition of numerous businesses. Prior to 1975 I was a banking professional managing the commercial loan department for a National Bank. In addition he taught accounting at the college level on a part time basis for 17 years. I am available for the sale and marketing of your business, or for the purchase of your next business venture.
GLEN BROWN: I believe the best knowledge comes from hands on experience. Over the last 30 years in SW Florida I have managed, started, created, expanded, bought and sold numerous businesses. These experiences have taught me how to help you navigate the unfamiliar road of buying or selling a business.
F. STEVE SCHNEIDER: Steve Schneider is a lifelong entrepreneur, whose experience as a licensed Business Broker began with the purchase of a business brokerage franchise in 1983. Since 2005, he has also served as a Registered Franchise Consultant.
Prior to 1975, Steve was employed as a Registered Representative of Paine, Webber, Jackson & Curtis and A.G. Edwards & Sons. In 1976, Steve joined the ranks of the self-employed with the purchase of a tiny retail optical shop. The business grew substantially over the years and, in 2001, he accepted an unsolicited offer to sell his retail stores to a national chain.
During his career, Steve has also been a principal partner in the ownership of five different franchise businesses. In addition to business brokerage, they were in the fields of real estate investment, senior care and employment services.
Steve holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a major in Accounting. He is based in Sarasota.
ALAN JULIANO: Alan joined CIBB as an agent in 2014. He comes to CIBB after a 20+ year career with GE. Alan served as President & CEO of GE Capital's Asian Equipment Finance business based in Tokyo, Japan and as President & CEO of GE Capital's European Equipment Services business based in Holland.
Alan brings significant Mergers and Acquisitions experience to CIBB and has developed a particular niche with general manufacturing, construction, technology and services businesses.
Alan has a BA from Trinity College and an MBA from St. John's University. He is based out of our Naples, Florida office.
WILLIAM YATES: Bill holds a B.A. degree from the University of South Florida, a M.B.A. from the University of West Florida and a J.D. from New England School of Law. A serial entrepreneur, Bill has owned and operated several small businesses over the years, including a Subway franchise, an income tax practice and a financial service company. Bill began practicing law in Massachusetts in 1999, but established his own firm in 2004 focusing on Business Law, Asset Protection and Estate Planning. His experience includes mergers, acquisitions & start-ups in a wide range of businesses ranging in price from $10,000 to $80 million.
