DAVID J HALVORSON, MBA
Is a business intermediary and M&A advisor who brings a wealth of knowledge from running his own startup to being in leadership positions at one of the largest Fortune 500 enterprises. He has spent all but his undergraduate years living in Silicon Valley where he closely follows technology trends and develops strategies and relationships to take advantage of those trends. He has over twenty years of experience in a range of operations, engineering and business roles at Intel Corporation. He knows both the hardware and the software needed to model the manufacturing process. Dave has successfully molded his leadership skills by assembling and managing large cross-functional teams to deliver the product, roadmap and the operational efficiencies to reach markets on time.
Dave has driven innovation into multi-billion microprocessor products using strategic partnerships to make new technology features and improve the product development cycle. He has worked on many complex intellectual property licensing contracts and the security needed to protect critical corporate assets.
Dave has also been involved as a co-founder of a number of B2B and B2C startups which has expanded his experience outside the enterprise.
Dave did his undergraduate studies in engineering and economics at the University of California at San Diego and holds an Executive MBA from the Leavey School of Business at Santa Clara University. He currently lives in Redwood City with his wife, dog and two kids. When he is not following technology or meeting new people, he likes to run and ride his bike in the Woodside Hills area.
