Matt Cohen is a seasoned business broker who began working in the industry in 2001. Matt has successfully closed 100+ transactions in industries ranging from Business Services, Health Care, Automotive, Technology, Internet, Retail, Import, to Distribution and more. Throughout his career, and amongst his peers, he is known for his knowledge, attention to detail, and dedication to serving his clients.
Mr. Cohen was raised in the Bay Area and Graduated from UC Davis with a degree in International Affairs and an MBA from UC Davis Graduate School of Management. He is a member of the California Association of Business Brokers (CABB) and a regular speaker at SCORE’s seminars on small business transactions.
Prior to Business Brokerage, Mr. Cohen worked for 10 years as a Software Sales Executive in the areas of Internet Infrastructure, Web Hosting and Speech Recognition. He founded a software company and sold it to a large Telecommunications player, as well as purchased another company through the brokerage process. He has also operated an independent Medical Testing Laboratory since 2004.
