Eich has been a Licensed Florida Real Estate Broker and Broker/Owner of Miramar Beach Realty since
1984. He was previously licensed since 1966 in Massachusetts, New York, Georgia and Florida. He has
supervised cumulative sales of over $300 million. He has bought & sold numerous businesses including
real estate, hotels, restaurants, retail stores, the Shell full service convenience store and a securities
brokerage firm. Early career management experience of Hilton, Hotels, Country Clubs,
& Restaurants. He founded in 1979 the Five star restaurant Manor on Peachtree and SEMCCO;
Performing marketing consulting and sales training for resorts, restaurants and real estate
developments including Sandestin, Bluewater Bay, Bay Pont etc.
Eich was formerly: Sr. Marketing Manager, Marriott International, Panama City, Chicago, Orlando
where he Designed and created collateral materials, videos, brochures, flyers, TV and radio spots. He
established direct mail programs, telemarketing call centers and remote locations for “OPC”, (Seaside,
Destin, Tallahassee, Ocala, Orlando, Mobile, Panama City Beach). He held seminars and trained 500+
telemarketing and guest service team members; supervised opening of sales centers, installed displays
and graphics, trained opening staffs. He acted as liaison between Marriott and developers, brand
operators and strategic partners. Selected and specified art for billboard and airport locations. Eich
established synergistic programs with hotels, restaurants, retail merchants and car rental companies
to generate guests and customers.
Formerly Vice President Real Estate Sandestin: Broker, Sandestin Realty & Securities Broker Dealer
(22, 63, 39). Member NASD, SIPC. He directed Real Estate Sales & Marketing Programs on & offsite,
resulting in over $100 million in sales. Served on Executive Committee that advised Marketing,
Development, Construction, Resort Operations & F & B Departments. Helped develop & plan the
opening of Bayside Hotel & Beachside Sandestin Hilton, established protocol for resale of security
offering Reg. D private placement condo-hotel units.
Formerly Sr. Vice President, Sales and Marketing, TRECO, (NYSE) Jacksonville, FL (Formerly Barnett-
Winston REIT) Sold out $289 million portfolio of diverse properties. Trained 150+ licensed Real Estate
sales and marketing Team. Supervised the conversion of hotels to shared ownership condominiums,
coordinated the marketing materials, construction, renovation, legal documentation, sales and
marketing for the St. Augustine Beach and Tennis Club, Orlando Magic Tree, Sarasota Limetree
Beach Resort, La Pension and Avenue Plaza New Orleans.
Executive Vice President, General Manager, Fairfield Plantation, GA. Eich had total responsibility for
2,400 acre residential resort community near Atlanta. Country Club, championship golf course and 100
boat-slip marina. Designed and built 100 three-bedroom condominiums adjacent to marina. Mass
marketed, direct mail & telemarketing to corporate and social guests. Developed timeshare program
after sell-out of 3,700 home sites. Began custom and speculative home construction division. Renovated
resort facilities and increased club membership from 225 to 950 families. He formulated annual and
five-year business plan, including detailed marketing plan and strategic plan for build-out of community.
Served on Architectural Review Board, negotiated with water authority for sewer and water quality and
availability, and served on Property Owner’s Association Board of Directors. Responsible for 13
operating departments $10,000,000 annual operating budget.
Eich had early career experience at Country Clubs, College, Institutional feeding and as opening food &
beverage manager, Holiday Inn, Peabody and Sheraton, Hyannis (2 restaurants, beach club, 800 seat
banquet facilities. 2.000 seat nightclub/theatre, golf course, health spa).
