Matthew Cardente has practiced commercial real estate for thirteen years in the State of Maine and for eight years in the State of New Hampshire. In 2005, Matthew founded Cardente Real Estate in order to offer clients and customers a better alternative for their real estate needs. Mr. Cardente specializes investment acquisitions, property management, and the sale and leasing of retail, office, and industrial properties in the State of Maine and New Hampshire. Matthew was voted Maine Commercial Realtor of the Year in 2008 and was the President of the Maine Commercial Association of Realtors from 2009 & 2010, Vice President of the Maine Commercial Association of Realtors from 2007 & 2008, and a Board member since 2004. Originally the New Hampshire Commercial Property Exchange, Mr. Cardente was one of the original Maine Committee Members that played a key role in getting Maine Commercial Realtors to join New Hamphsire, Vermont, and Massachusetts in the newly created online database. Now known as New England Commercial Property Exchange, Matthew stayed with the committee through 2009 when the database was transitioned over to its current provider known as Catalyst. In the past, Mr. Cardente was a mentor for the Longfellow School, a Wish Volunteer for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, and a four year member of the Yarmouth Zoning Board of Appeals. In 2001, Matt was the President of Sarah Lawrence College as well as the Class Speaker at graduation. Matthew is currently on the Conference Committee for the Maine Economic Real Estate Development Association, a CCIM Candidate, and is the President of Cardente Real Estate and Cardente Property Management. Additionally, Matt is a Notary Public for the State of Maine and has officiated twelve marriages since 2003.
