THOMAS N. (TOM) FEHER President, Managing Partner
Tom has accumulated a successful merger and acquisition background in addition to his broad engineering experience. Tom has over 35 years of management experience in M&A, consulting engineering and industrial production. Prior to entering the M & A field he sold after 10 years of ownership and operation, his own mid-size, multi-state testing and consulting engineering company. He is a Professional Engineer; (B.C.) member of ASME; He has an engineering degree in mechanical and industrial engineering from Budapest Technical University, post-graduate studies at the University of British Columbia, Canada; and has extensively lectured on engineering, quality control and testing subjects at several West Coast Colleges and major industrial plants.
K. PERRY CAMPBELL
Mr. Campbell, Principal and Managing Director of the Portland-Vancouver office of ACT Consultants, has 30 years of business experience. He has served as president of five companies including an environmental company, a computer services and system design company, a consulting engineering company, a government contracting and construction company, and a mergers & acquisitions consulting company. Perry has managed the M&A process for both sellers and buyers on transactions involving firms valued at less than $ 1 million to over $100 million, including chemical laboratories, engineering, environmental, manufacturing, technology, material testing, and construction firms. His transactions involved capital investments of over $450 million. Perry holds B.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the Pennsylvania State University.
JOHN F. RONEY, Managing Director
Mr. Roney is in charge of the California operations of ACT Consultants, has close 10 years experience in mergers and acquisitions. Prior to joining ACT, John was a vice president with the Geneva Companies, the nation's leading middle market M&A firm where he closed transactions up to $120 MM in value. While he has worked with clients in a wide variety of industries, Mr. Roney's focus is software and technology companies and he has had numerous successes in this area. Prior to entering the M&A field, John served as an artillery officer in the US Army. He is currently working in the intelligence field for the US Army Reserve. DENNIS R. MARTIN, Principal
Mr. Martin has several years of experience in mergers and acquisitions. Starting with his first chief executive position in 1970, Dennis acquired extensive knowledge in all operating functions of running a company, including strategic planning, corporate development, sales and marketing, manufacturing, engineering and finance. He has been involved in the management of several companies and completed a number of acquisitions and funded four start-ups. His experience includes development of computer software and system design at IBM. He has completed debt and equity placements for funding acquisitions and start-ups.
