Richard A. Mathurin, Sr. (Dick), Senior Principal -- Dick has over 25 years of experience as a financial intermediary. He has managed the merger or sale of more than 350 companies in a wide variety of fields and industries. Dick spent the first 12 years of his career as a banker and holds a degree in accounting.
Marc Anton, Jr., Principal - Marc has served as a financial intermediary to small and middle market companies in a variety of ownership transitions throughout New England. Marc is recognized for his expertise in the marine related industries, and he has advised in the merger or sale of several of its prominent businesses and properties. Prior to joining the firm, Marc was employed by Unum Corporation. He is a native of Boothbay Harbor, Maine and is a graduate of the University of Southern Maine.
Richard Mathurin, Jr. (Rich), Principal - Rich joined the firm in February 2003 returning to his home state of Maine after serving in Tokyo, Japan with the law firm of Morrison & Foerster, LLP where he specialized in mergers and acquisitions. Previously, he had worked at the law firm of Milbank, Tweed, LLP in Los Angeles where he worked on corporate finance projects. Rich is a graduate of the UCLA School of Law and holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame in Finance and Japanese.
Douglas B. Averill, Sr. Financial Analyst - Prior to joining the firm, Doug had jobs of increasing responsibility in building project management from downtown Boston to Northern New England with a brief break to serve in the Peace Corps. Most recently he was the Service and Modernization Manager for a local division of United Technologies Corporation. Doug has a bachelors degree from Dickinson College and a Masters of Business Administration from Babson College in Wellesley, MA.
