Prior to establishing the Portalea Business Group in 2004 Jorge has owned and operated multiple businesses in the greater Washington D.C. and Baltimore Areas since 1976. He has a wealth of experience in customer service, retail management, and wholesale distribution having been a franchisee with major oil companies, a service director with several large car dealerships, a wholesale electronics distributor, and a restaurateur. He is a member and serving on the board of directors of the Mid-Atlantic Business Intermediaries Association (MABIA), Certified Commercial Investment Member (Candidate), Greater Capital Area Association of Realtors (GCAAR), Virginia Association of Realtors, National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP), International Council of Shopping Centers, and The Commercial Network World Wide (TCN). Finally, he is fluent in both English and Spanish.
